The Old Forge is less than two miles from the sandy beaches and romantic marshes and creeks of the
Heritage Coast of North Norfolk, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Old Forge, owned by Gillian Cape - former chef-patronne at Fishes Restaurant, welcomes walkers, cyclists, golfers, birdwatchers, escapees and eccentrics… Comfortable rooms with excellent en-suite bathrooms, locally sourced food (an evening meal is a possibility or perhaps a picnic to take to the beach) and a sheltered spacious courtyard. Guest sitting room with lots of books, TV, DVD and a Wifi internet connection if you just can’t leave the office behind! Off road parking and less than 5 minutes walk from the village green with its shops, restaurants and the Hoste Arms Hotel. The Norfolk Coast Cycle Way passes the door (at Burnham Market it also forms part of Sustrans Route No.1) and the Norfolk Coastal Path is just down the road at Burnham Overy Staithe.
Close to RSPB Titchwell reserve, the golf courses of Brancaster and Hunstanton and
between Sandringham House and Holkham Hall… So much to enjoy!
